Our greatest fundraising need is the same as it was last year: is to address significant preservation needs at the Tallman/Newlin cabin, a historic Parker home built by John Tallman in 1864. The original log cabin, built masterfully without nails, sits under siding that the Newlin family added in later decades. Keeping the house safe from the elements is a labor of love for our group, since it is one of only two buildings in Parker that date from the time our town was founded.
