FREE Community Celebration, but you must RSVP. Limit of 500 guests in a variety of time slots. Costumes encouraged!
We invite visitors to join the spirit of the day by dressing in the style of earlier American times.
Join us for a day dedicated to honoring the heroes of the past and exploring the skills, stories, and traditions that helped shape life on the American prairie. Our 2026 History Celebration brings history to life through hands-on experiences that invite visitors to learn, create, and connect with the spirit of earlier generations. Visitors will enjoy engaging activities and demonstrations throughout the farm, including:
Churning butter and making hand-dipped beeswax candles
Exploring how pioneers and Native Americans made soap using natural ingredients
Discovering the history of Parker Then and Now
