About the event
Did you know that Parker was once home to a very famous horse? In its quest to develop and breed the perfect war horse during WWII, the Nazis stole the finest horses from all around Europe. One of those horses was the famous Arabian stallion, Witez II, taken from his home in Poland and moved to Czechoslovakia. Rescued by the American Army in the waning days of the war, Witez was eventually sent to America. Come to the presentation by local award-winning author, M.J. Evans, and find out the Parker connection to this famous horse.
